Description
An adapter that allows you to connect a Compact Flash memory card to the internal IDE port on the Amiga 600 and Amiga 1200. The IDE port is pass-through and allows you to connect another drive to the 44-pin CN3 connector. The Compact Flash memory card can be set as master or slave using jumper J1. An LED visually indicates access to the adapter.
Buffering
The adapter is also available with buffering, which separates a total of 24 signals from the rest of the system. This improves signal quality and thus contributes to system stabilization. Also integrated is a converter that prevents the HDD LED on some CompactFlash cards from glowing continuously. This makes it the world's first and only CF-IDE adapter with these features for the Amiga.
