Description
As the owner of an expansion card with its own storage interface (e.g., PiStorm 500, Vampire 500, etc.), you face the problem that it is not possible to monitor the device’s operation via the Amiga 500’s LED activity. Unfortunately, manufacturers have neglected to include this feature in their expansion cards.
The solution to this problem is an HDD LED adapter for the Amiga 500, which provides a single input. This allows the activity of devices such as hard drives to be displayed using the original LED module on the Amiga 500’s front panel (the FDD LED).
The signal for the internal DISK is transmitted unchanged. This corrects the issue of the LED staying on continuously, which can occur with some SD or CompactFlash cards.
As a bonus, the module also features LEDs that indicate a computer reset (red LED) and power-on status (green LED).
The HDD LED of adapter cable should be soldered to point PP13 on Pistorm adapter for RPi 3A+ point the designation is the same but on module.

Soldering the cable requires some soldering skills, if you do not feel up to the task, have this done by an appropriate service centre;. We cannot be held responsible for any damage caused by unskilful installation.
