Description

The KA02 is an angled PCMCIA connector for the Amiga 1200 in a standard enclosure. It allows the PCMCIA card to be mounted vertically along the side of the Amiga, taking up significantly less space on your desk. The Ethernet card’s network cable is conveniently routed to the back of the Amiga. The KA02 is also compatible with network cards featuring a thick connector with a built-in RJ45 jack.

The KA02 features a high-quality gold-plated PCMCIA slot with pins of varying lengths, in accordance with the PCMCIA standard. This preserves the ability to insert PCMCIA cards “hot-swap” while the Amiga is powered on. The KA02 adapter itself (with or without a card in the slot) can also be connected and disconnected while the computer is running.

The adapter connects all 68 pins of the PCMCIA connector, so it should work with any Amiga-compatible card. The KA02 has been successfully tested with many models of network cards and CF adapters.
